From April 16 – 19 the Automotive Campus Helmond in the Netherlands is thé hotspot if you want to keep up with the latest European developments in mobility and want to expand your network in our mobility sector. Innovative technologies and the right skills become more and more important to make the world of mobility smart, safe and sustainable.
Automotive Campus in Helmond, in the heart of the Brainport region, opens her doors to the international public to experience the mobility of the future.
The Automotive Week 2023 is the perfect opportunity to meet and talk with everyone involved to make the transformation in mobility become reality. Governments, industry, start-ups, research and citizens have to work together in a process of learning by doing.
Lex Boon, Director Automotive Campus, emphasizes that: “the Dutch Automotive and Mobility community has been recognized internationally for years as a progressive innovative ecosystem with the Automotive Campus in the Eindhoven Brainport Region as an important location”.
Integrated Mobility Solutions
The focus on this year’s edition of Automotive Week is an exclusive look behind the scenes for future talent, professionals, governments and knowledge institutions.
Automotive companies, organizations and universities will demonstrate their latest large and smaller innovations such as: digital infrastructure for new forms of mobility, self-driving shuttle transport, developments on complex themes such as cyber security, Artificial Intelligence (AI) and use of data and facilities for smart and sustainable mobility.
But also, the latest applications in the field of Traffic Management, Mobility as a Service (MaaS), Intelligent Speed Assistance (ISA), battery technology, hydrogen, charging infrastructure, solar technology and automatic driving will be showcased.
Program
- Sunday April 16: Talent Fair
This day is all about future talents, students and young professionals. Automotive companies and knowledge institutes open their doors on the campus to introduce future talents to the mobility industry.
- Monday 17 April: High level opening day
On the High-level opening day, Automotive Week 2023 will be opened by Elly Blanksma, Major of municipality Helmond. Also two German Ministers will be present: Oliver Krischer, Minister for Environment, Nature Conservation and Transport of the State of North Rhine-Westphalia and Winfried Hermann, Minister of the Ministry Baden-Württemberg.
Besides these names, a variety of EU Board members and CEO’s in the world of smart, safe and green mobility and many national ánd international guest speakers, kick-off the week.
- Tuesday 18 April: Theme day ‘Mobility in the digital society’
Panel Discussions with topics such as ‘Innovations for liveable cities’, give shape to the afternoon program on Tuesday and Wednesday.
In the afternoon, in-depth sessions like Cyber, Artificial Intelligence, Cooperative Connected Automated Mobility and autonomous shuttles in public transport are part of the program.
Also this last day of our international program includes panel discussions and in-depth sessions. Today’s panel discussions are on the themes ‘How to achieve zero emission’ and ‘changing human behavior’. At the in-depth session, among others ‘Key technologies in Clean Fuels’ and ‘Zero emission on heavy duty’ are the talks of the day.
In short, a very varied 4-day program of interest to all audiences that the automotive week attracts.
Demonstrations
Automotive Week 2023 offers a "look inside" current developments for an international audience. It is much more than a congress. It offers you the opportunity to showcase your innovation to a large and interested audience. Visitors come to experience the mobility of the future with many demonstrations and lectures, by and for professionals and future professionals.
Visitors come to the automotive week to see and experience interesting (intermediate) results of large and smaller innovations.
